Service Opportunities
At Grace, there are many opportunities to serve our community and our members. Below are some ways that we do this.
Family Promise
We are a host congregation to Family Promise, a ministry to help families in need of housing. We host families in need a few times a year to help and support them.
Braille Workers
The Lutheran Braille Workers was created to make Bibles for people with visual impairments. Our church's printing center produces 10 Bibles each month, which are sent to prison ministries globally.
Quilters
Every week, we have a group that meets to enjoy each other's company and make quilts for those in need. Everyone is welcome to join.
Disaster Relief
This group travels to help areas affected by disasters. Our church has a
Community Pancake Breakfast
On the third Saturday of each month at 8 AM, we host a free pancake breakfast for the community. Volunteers are welcome to join without needing to bring anything. The event takes place at the HEAT building, 1030 W Crawford St, Denison, TX 75020.
